So I'm basically wasting time between classes so this won't be a real post, just a slight rant about how everyone here smokes. Everywhere we go is smokey and it is impossible to avoid smelling like cigarette smoke if you want to go out. this also means that I have to do laundry more often because I don't always want to smell. It sinks into everything...hair, clothing, underwear, coats, hats...Kori and Alyssa have decided that living here for four months will take at least two years off our lives just from the smoke inhalation. France and Ireland are on the right track even if it makes their citizens angry. I'll post about Munich when I have pictures to accent.

Hey Halley! You're so right about that. Try being here in Spain -- essentially, any time you leave the house for a cafe or a restaurant, you must be prepared to do laundry upon your return. I scoured Spanish supermarkets for Febreeze and that neutralizes it for maybe twenty minutes, but isn't all that effective...
I like your updates! -Rita
Yeah, France is actually the same way. Yes, there are laws being passed, but they don't go into effect until Thursday, so I'll see how that goes... But all the secondhand smoke isn't doing any favors for my cold, either. The percentage of French people who smoke has actually increased since the 90's, which seems kind of backwards to me. But this is only a very small gripe, as everything else here is awesome. Love your blog, please keep posting!
